What the hell is a “chief diversity officer?”
Apparently, it’s someone that B.O. needs to police the American airwaves to make sure that there are an equal or greater number of opposing viewpoints being aired in contrast to popular conservative opinions. If anybody wanted to hear typical liberal garbage, why aren’t liberal talk-radio programs flourishing? The answer is usually as simple as it seems; in this case, liberal talk radio shows fail for the simple reason that advertisers do not buy air time on these shows because NOBODY LISTENS TO THEM!! What an insult to the American people – that because they can’t hear an opposing viewpoint on their favorite radio station, they must be too stupid to be able to form their own opinion on issues important to them, or to imagine, on their own, what the opposing argument could be. And to force conservative talk radio to pay, out of their own pocket, the operating costs of radio stations to air opposing liberal viewpoints is an idea that I’m sure most people who value and cherish their freedom find repugnant at best. Boiled down: “It’s okay – nobody agrees with anything you have to say, but we’ll make sure, one way or the other, that there’s enough money for you to ram your opinions down everyone’s throats anyway. Conservative talk radio will either pay the loser’s bills or we’ll shut them down.” I have a hard time believing that these same liberals would be pushing so hard for a return to the fairness doctrine if liberal bullshit talk radio was anywhere near as popular.
Again, the solution to any given problem is usually as simple as it seems, and in this case, it should simply be: “Go ahead, liberals! Everyone in America is free to start up a radio station or talk radio program and let the market decide who succeeds and who fails! What’s that you say? You tried that and failed miserably? Well, I guess you’re shit out of luck, then! Now FUCK OFF!”
